For over 40 years, Sakonnet Early Learning Center has provided children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging place to learn and grow. We're looking for a caring, dependable Preschool Teacher who enjoys helping young children build confidence through learning and play.
Whether you're an experienced early childhood educator or have experience working with children in another setting, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Lead engaging Pre-K learning activities
- Support early literacy, math, and STEAM exploration
- Foster positive behavior and social-emotional growth
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom
- Partner with families and collaborate with a supportive teaching team

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with children preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood coursework is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to successfully complete a background check

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
The Association for Early Learning Leaders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving directors, owners and administrators of early care and education programs since 1984. Our goal is to strengthen the knowledge, skills and abilities of directors, owners, emerging leaders and other early learning professionals to ensure quality programs for young children.
