Location: Tiverton, RI

- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily instruction and classroom activities for Pre-K students
- Support learning experiences in literacy, math, science, STEM/STEAM, art, sensory play, and hands-on exploration
- Help implement Creative Curriculum lesson plans and thematic units
- Set up and maintain classroom learning centers and instructional materials
- Promote social-emotional learning, positive behavior, and cooperative play
- Observe and support children’s developmental progress and assist with documentation for portfolios and family communication
- Communicate with families through the center’s parent engagement application (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with RIDHS child care licensing standards
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while maintaining required ratios
- Provide classroom coverage and float between classrooms when needed
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and required training
- High school diploma or GED required
- CDA, RIELDS coursework, or early childhood education training preferred
- Experience working with preschool-age children in a child care center, preschool, camp, or similar setting
- Strong teamwork, communication, and classroom support skills
- Patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about play-based and child-centered learning
- Comfort using digital parent communication platforms is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
