Preschool Teacher Position Available

Pay Rate: $16 - $19 per hour

Job Summary:

As a Teacher at Sakonnet Early Learning Center, you will provide care and education for young children, fostering a safe and loving environment that supports their social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.

Responsibilities:

  • Create balanced and developmentally appropriate lesson plans
  • Document learning experiences through displays and pictures
  • Maintain positive communication with families daily
  • Ensure a safe, comforting, and stimulating environment for toddlers
  • Adhere to childcare licensing standards
  • Work collaboratively in a rewarding, fast paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a preschool environment is preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills, comfortable engaging with parents.
  • Energetic, nurturing, and child-friendly personality
  • Takes the initiative and has a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma
